A 'Zine for 2020

The Song Between Our Stars is a biannual 'zine showcasing literary and artistic work.

The Song Between Our Stars was founded in 2020 as a way of documenting creative reactions to contemporary issues while simultaneously creating another way for artists and writers to reach audiences despite sheltering in place from the pandemic.

We seek diverse, divergent, and atypical voices and to showcase work from emerging and established writers and artists alike. We prefer literature and art that is focused on divisions: within our selves, within and between communities, and the various ways that indiividuals and groups nevertheless overwhelm their separateness. The Song Between Our Stars is independently published by Pingo Soochét in print and online and is edited by a group of volunteer editors.

We publish work which was previously unpublished and not shared on social media. Our premiere issue, however, had different restrictions and requirements.

Please see Submissions for more information and guidelines. We have two reading periods every year, and submissions are accepted through Submittable
